Chalmershat

Chalmerscapmossan

These rules are determined by the Student union, and are the only real rules available. Further suggestions are given in the folklore that applies to the hat. The hat consists of cap and tassel. In the tofsen there are two wooden balls (note that the new tufts do not have wood balls but only the small wire mesh / Marshal's notice.)  Every year a may flower is purchased. This is placed in one of the two wooden beads on the tassel.  The hat should not be embellished with anything other than the explicitly mentioned applications in these rules.

• The hat must be worn by members of Chalmers Student Union, with the intention of graduating. The event must also be carried by Chalmers graduates on a festive occasion.
• The hat is not worn indoors. Emilia must, when considered appropriate, wear hat even indoors.
• White cap is worn from the hat-ceremony on April 30 until the hat-ceremony on October 1. Black hat is worn from the hat-ceremony on October 1st until the hat-ceremony on April 30th.  Nymble owns the right to wear caps from the moment they change from being zero to being fresh.  At student graduation parties, white hat must be worn even before the end of April, but only during the festivity, and not on the way to or from the same.
• For white suits, wearing a white hat. The hat must be worn indoors.  At funeral, white hat is worn without applications with sorrow. Care band is carried so that the concorde band is hidden.

Other technical colleges have variations on the cap, these can be studyied at Studentmössans Vänner.
